The translation of ground breaking research into corporate training and practice is of vital importance today. The world of health care is continuously generating sound scientific research aimed at improving all aspects of the work environment from safety to mental health in the work force to employee retention.
The challenge facing those in the public and private sectors is taking this research and creating real-world change in the culture of the workplace and in broader Canadian society. At this conference, Canadian and international experts from a broad range of disciplines will present current research and evidence-based knowledge and experience in implementing research evidence into practice.
This interdisciplinary conference will bring together large and small business leaders, academic leaders and researchers, disability and rehabilitation professionals and other stakeholders concerned with business management, global, population and occupational health. The conceptual framework below describes these relationships and conference program themes.
