Full Bio: Merv Gilbert has worked as a leader and psychologist in the health care industry for over twenty years. He has worked in both private and institutional health care settings providing opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, program development, research and teaching. Merv has served in leadership roles at regional, provincial and international levels. He has published in national and international professional journals and has presented in a diverse array of forums on the importance of workplace mental health and productivity issues for individuals and organizations.
Merv is a principal partner with Gilbert Acton, organizational health consultants. Gilbert Acton enables organizations to create psychologically healthy climates through valid methods of assessment, consultation, coaching, training and evaluation. He continues to serve on a number of professional and non-profit organizations, including serving on the BC and Global Business and Economic Roundtables on Mental health and Addictions.
