Full Bio: Dr. Downey is an Associate Professor of accounting at the University of Lethbridge and Co-Director of the Centre for Health Management Research. Angela has been involved in health care research for nearly 15 years focusing on employee wellness programs as well as prevention in the health care system. She currently has over 1.2 Million $ in research funds for several projects often undertaking the role of health economist. One of her projects involves understanding the change process that exemplary firms undertake when they develop a culture of wellness.
