major goal of CIRPD is to facilitate the rapid dissemination of new knowledge and its utilization to improve patient health outcomes. CIRPD is an affiliate of the Canadian Cochrane Network and Centre [link to CCNC] which is committed to the creation and utilization of evidence-based resources to improve public health.  CIRPD is a recognized leader in KTE. Current Education Programs

Evidence-based Management of Low Back Pain for Massage Therapists

This E-Learning and On-site Training Program was created for the Massage Therapists Association of British Columbia in collaboration with the University of Northern British Columbia to assist massage therapists apply research evidence in their practice and facilitate the use of validated outcome measures.

Massage Therapists Research Website

The Massage Therapists Research Website was launched in July 2005. The website provides massage therapists with access to a research database, downloadable outcome measures, articles about evidence-based practice, and links to internet resources.

Prevention of Injuries Arising from Motor Vehicle Collisions

Research Database of CIRPD Funded Projects Related to Whiplash & Injury Prevention

Canada Science Fairs – CIRPD in collaboration with The Woodbridge Group, Auto21 Centre of Excellence and Yves Laundy Foundation and the Youth Sciences Foundations establishes the Automotive Division for the Canada Science Fairs. Canada Science Fairs is a national science fair for junior, intermediate and senior secondary students. Last year was the first year of launching the Automotive Division. Over 30 students competed in the national finals.
